Depending on the experience of the doctor and condition of the patient,  the drug may be taken orally, before or after the start of the treatment of chemotherapy or any surgery. The patient must pay particular attention to the instructions given and should not remain in doubt about the specifics of medicine to take.

When taken in liquid form, to be particular for the quantity intake. Use the specialized measuring spoon and not the ordinary household spoon. Particular attention is paid to the time of intake of the liquid dose. It is taken 1 or 2 days after the treatment. It will be prudent to take a dose at the same time on the days directed. The dosage does not exceed 8 milligrams in 24 hours for patients having a liver problem.
