The designers from the “Robert Gurney Architects” of USA have recently completed the construction of a modern house in Maryland USA. The house is a two level structure. Wissioming Residence is the name of this house.

The latest construction is just the modification of an old house. This house is a centre of attraction in the locality. The house is made up of two levels. One part of this house is residential and the other one is the office of the owner. The residential portion is separated by the main structure via a pond.

What this house today is a combined effort of too many characteristics. The designers define the construction as “the pre-cast planks of concrete are the key constraint of this construction, as they have been used widely during the construction.

The task of these pre-cast planks was to span the large areas, to fasten the construction process and to provide a path for the heat requirements of the house. The heating system is well designed with the use of terrazzo flooring along with the concrete slabs. The house is solar efficient too. So , do you like this house?
