The city of Pripyat had to be abandoned immediately on the nearby Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986. The radiation caused so much that it will not be reentered for infinite years.The city is at mercy of the nature.

The beautiful pictures of Shicheng City (literally, Lion City) were published and the public has been taking strong interest for visiting. A new industry for tourism has sprung up. The submerged city was named after the Five Lion Mountain – Shicheng City, this place in the north of Sui’an County, Zhejiang.
The county was famed for its trade, culture and the political power due to the political activities. As recorded in the archives of the county there are 265 arched submerged in the Lake Qiandro including the famous Jie Xiao Memorial Arch’s fine carvings remain well-preserved. The restored map of Shicheng there are five towers, one on on each gate of the city. All the six streets are well connected. The roads were made of stone masonry and lined with flagstone and Pebbles.
