So Unusual yet so Beautiful: House in Australia

So Unusual yet so Beautiful: House in Australia (20)

This is a project from Perth, Australia. The residential project we are going to discuss has been designed for a young couple with a scope of their future family. The visual appearance of this house is somewhat quite different and beautiful. The house is based at a limestone field that slowly transits into a garden just below the central part of the house.

The pillars of the house are so designed and in metallic form that gives an illusion of holding the structure altogether. The pillars, in addition to the strength provide a dynamic look to the house. The house doesn’t seem to follow the usual rules of designing. The architects of David Barr & Ross Brewin, has done a tremendous work to get the best design out of the requirements.

The day and night zones has been defined separately in this house. The house challenges the traditions being followed in the Australian art of house designing. The house doesn’t have a front door or garage. It is built above the ground and even there are no bricks involved in construction. Simply, in other words, a completely strange construction!
