Can you imagine how to live without money ? Mark Boyle and his type of people are there to make this world interesting.
After his graduation with a degree in business from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology he worked as a Manager of two Organic companies in 2007. He had all the comforts of life, one can imagine. He wanted like others to impress the world around in life.
This man from north west Ireland was inspired by watching the movie “Gandhi.” He left his home, job, bank account and money. He has no pr0perty now. This change in life came from Mahatma Gandhi’s idea “Be the change you want see in the world”. He was so much inspired from this view that since then he lives in a world full of struggle.
After the change, he started living with minimum requirements of life. In his writings he says that the degrees of separation between the consumer and the consumed have increased so much that we’re completely unaware of the levels of destruction and suffering embodied in the stuff we buy. He rightfully says further that if we grew our own food, we wouldn’t waste a third of it as we do today. If we made our own tables and chairs, we wouldn’t throw them out the moment we changed the interior decor. If we had to clean our own drinking water, we probably wouldn’t contaminate it.” He is the author of Free economy blog and writes for British newspaper The Guardian. His first book,The Moneyless Man: A Year of Freeconomic Living was published in 2010. Boyle currently lives near Bath, in South-west England. He had planned 2009 to live without money and following so.
He confessed later that just seven years ago he could not even think of this sea change in his life. Now he cooks his meals on a stove and not in a microwave. Like him there others such as Heidemarie Schwermer and Daniel Suelo live without money. He keeps reminding his readers that the idea of living without money is not new.
