Your doctor will prescribe you topical antifungal creams. If there is itching and inflammation corticosteroid creams will be recommended. In case symptoms do not get better even after two weeks oral fluconazole tablet is given.

How To Prevent Thrush In men
- The key to avoiding candida infection in men is to maintain personal hygiene.
- Keep penis clean and dry
- Do not use perfumed soaps or shower gels on genital
- Always practices safe sex and use condoms.
- Avoid wearing tight under underwear. Wear loose cotton underpants.
- Eat a well-balanced diet rich in vitamins to boost body immunity. Supplement your diet with probiotics and fermented foods.
- Drink lots of water.
