The essence of life is Love, no matter where it comes from or on whom it is showered. Blood relation is not important. Family doesn’t always have to include those related to us by blood-the blood is NOT what binds us to each other- its the love in our hearts for one another.
However, coming down to brass tacks, when it comes to South Asia,it is believed that none other than grand parents can take good care of the grand children if they are willing to do so. The love showered on to the grand children by their grand parents is normally very genuine and sincere and more than what their own children received.
Since the late 20th century when it comes to the Americans or the Europeans it is other way round. There the relationship are very reserved. Only binding factor is found to be Love.
