It is a delicious drink to try with apple, no fat and takes very less time to cook.
Ingredients
1/2 peeled large orange
1 teaspoon whole cardamon pods
1 quart apple cider
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
2 whole cloves
1 cinnamon sticks
4 shots brandy (optional)
Instructions
1. By using metal tongs, hold the orange peel over a flame until starts to singe and brown in spots. Place it in a large pot.
2. With the flat side of a knife or a rolling pin, crack and bruise the cardamon pods. Add orange peel to the pot. Pour in apple cider and stir it while adding brown sugar, cloves, and cinnamon stick. Now gently simmer over low flame for about 7 minutes. Ladle into four glasses, spike each with a shot of brandy according to your taste. Serve warm.
