The project we are going to have a look today is something close to the nature. The house is constructed in such a way that it is integrated in a forest area by a lake in Vermont’s Dunmore. The designers of this house are from, Brian Mac – Vermont Architects.
The house simply provides the peace and comfort to the ones residing in this house. The house has been given a name that seems to be quite apt as per the appearance, Cantilever Lake House. There are two twin structures standing separately. Both of these are having two levels.
The black and grey exterior of the house along with the vivid colors of the forest gives a great contrast. The access to the lake is possible only through one section of this twin structure. The reason being the accommodation to the social areas. The living room is a complete “wow” as there is a great unobstructed view of the lake through the huge window is visible.
The walls are white and the furniture is wooden, that means the contrast is perfect leading to a cozy feel. The interior is so interconnected that an access to the large deck is possible where one can meditate. Overall this house is a gift for the nature lovers. The minimalist design is worth giving a look.
