Step 1- The foremost step is to shampoo and condition your hair thoroughly. This is followed by drying up an excess of water. This is done by the help of a towel. Do not use a hair dryer. Remember your hair should be a little damp.
Step 2- Next step is detangling your hair. For this, you need to comb your hair. Use a wide-tooth comb for this purpose. Comb your hair gently till the tangles are gone. You may also use the detangling spray for the same purpose.
Step 3- Next step is to part the hairs into sections. For this use a comb with teeth at one end and styling separator on the other end. It is called as a rat -tail comb. With the help of a rat-tail comb part your hair in small to medium rows. You may also try finger combing.
Step 4- After you have divided sections, Comb them separately, split each section into two pieces and twist them together. For this, you just keep wrapping the two pieces around each other until you reach the end.
Step 5- After you complete twisting the pieces give a little twirl to make a curl at the end. This prevents the natural hair from unraveling. You may also secure the base with a rubber band or other embellishments.
